Volunteer Training

Volunteers receive training at special Volunteer Training Classes offered twice per year, usually in July/August and February/March, under the supervision of our Volunteer Coordinator.  Volunteers also receive ongoing support from the staff at Hospice Family Care.

Volunteers that would like to help in The Caring House or directly with patient care must complete additional, more duty-specific training in conjunction with our general volunteer class.  These special training classes are also available on a regular basis.
