Hospice Family Care™, Madison County's only not for profit hospice, strives to provide excellent, compassionate end of life care for those touched by illness, grief, and loss.

There are many distinctions that set Hospice Family Care™ apart from the other hospice providers in the area. Following is a brief list highlighting some of those differences:
  • Rapid response time is critical when working with hospice patients. In 1979, Hospice Family Care™ chose to focus on the local community and today, still maintains this focus. This is significant because in the event of an emergency, our staff member(s) can respond quickly and will never have very far to travel in order to reach you, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

  • We have two local physicians serving as Medical Directors for Hospice Family Care™. The physicians are available to ensure your needs are met 24 hours a day. They attend weekly meetings with the clinical staff to assess the condition of each of our patients and their families.

  • HFC is a not-for-profit organization. This allows us to provide more comprehensive ancillary therapies (when medically indicated), such as pet therapy, massage therapy, and music and art therapy. Also, by not having to pay an “owner,” or group of stockholders, more money goes directly into patient care and training of the staff members.

Hospice Family Care™ has been caring for the Madison County community since 1979. Hospice Family Care™ serves patients in their home setting wherever it may be.

Our Certificate of Need is for Madison, Morgan, Limestone, Marshall, and Jackson Counties.
